Meet Marceline (aka Marcy)! 🖤 This sweet 3-year-old girl was adopted as a kitten from a local shelter, but with recent changes at home and some bullying from other kitties, she’s looking for a fresh start. Now at Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions, Marcy is ready to find the calm, loving family she deserves.
Marcy is extremely friendly, affectionate, and loves cuddles—she’ll happily lay by your head or hop into your lap when she’s feeling brave. She’s a talkative little charmer, chirping when she wants attention, but otherwise a quiet, gentle girl. Timid by nature, she startles easily with loud noises or unfamiliar people, so she’d thrive in a calm, patient home.
She enjoys sunbathing, playing with lasers and toys, and socializing with confident cat friends. Marcy does well with other cats and small, gentle dogs, but she would not do well with kids or large, boisterous dogs. She’s strictly indoor-only and prefers a stable, predictable lifestyle—no car rides, no cages, just quiet comfort.
Her ideal home is calm and patient, with humans who understand that with a little time and love, this sweet girl will blossom into a devoted companion.

Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions is a nonprofit organization dedicated to cats and people in our community. We provide counseling, information, and resources to empower people to support their cats and others in the community. If cats cannot stay with their families or neighborhoods, we prioritize our intake on cats most at risk - cats in need of rehoming; kittens who need specialized care; and cats who have been abandoned, are sick or injured, or are not thriving in the community. We are committed to ensuring the highest level of attention and care for cats in our adoption program and provide a modern, free-roaming adoption center to minimize stress, serve the individual needs of each cat, and set up both cats and adopters for success.
