Meet Oona! She was rescued from a parking lot and has quickly become the queen of her foster home. She’s living her best life with a crew of four older cats and two dogs—and she handles the chaos like a pro.
Oona is feisty, fun, and a little bit delightfully kooky. She’s got a signature “kitten hop” that usually ends with a dramatic misjump from her tower, followed by the most innocent “what happened?” look you’ve ever seen. Tunnel toys and toy mice? Obsessed. Zoomies? Always.
When she’s done showing off her acrobatics, Oona melts into cuddles. She’s long-haired, super soft, and has perfected the art of plopping down asleep—sometimes upside down, just to keep you on your toes.
Oona is looking for a home that can handle her antics, love her quirks, and maybe share a few giggles along the way.

More about this rescue
The Fayette County Humane Society (FCHS), staffed entirely by volunteers, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supported entirely by individual and corporate donations. Because we do not have a shelter, all of the animals we rescue live in temporary foster homes until they are adopted. We believe that all companion pets have intrinsic value and should be treated with the reverence and care they deserve.
