Peaches is a sweet female mix breed who came to the shelter with her three siblings after being surrendered by her owner. Now she’s waiting for a forever family who will love her unconditionally. Peaches is full of playful energy and loves to run, explore, and have fun. She especially enjoys playing with her sister Athena, and the two of them can often be found chasing each other around and keeping each other entertained. Peaches would thrive in a home where she can get plenty of activity, attention, and all the love she deserves.

The Chickasha Animal Shelter is a municipal shelter operated and funded by the City of Chickasha, Oklahoma. In addition to providing a safe environment for our adoptable animals we also are responsible for the enforcement of all animal related laws within the City of Chickasha and holding all stray animals that are located. In addition to these main roles, we also provide public Spay and neuter program with OkHumane, city pet licensing, and other educational services to our community.
We operate daily with a very limited staff supported by several amazing volunteers. We operate an active foster program and are always seeking to work with those in our community interested in assisting us in our mission.
