We’re Kilo’s foster parents! :) He is an energetic, cuddly little rascal. His personality is amazing, he loves
to cuddle and doesn’t mind being picked up, when he’s used to you of course. He LOVES his
scratchers and we’re sending him home with some plus the toys he’s enjoyed with us. He is incredibly
food motivated (both kitty and people food) and we have him on wellness core dry food and after dark
tiki cat wet food. He loves to climb, so a cat tower is essential! He can certainly jump, so be careful of
things on counters. He will need so much play time as he never seems to run out of energy. Once he is
comfortable with you, he will attach himself at the hip; expect to be followed around when getting
home, as he hates to be alone.
We’ve trimmed his nails so he should be accustomed to that and he is generally malleable so he’ll be
great at the vet. He also does very well in the car as long as he has a blanket in his carrier to lay on. We
have two other cats that he’s befriended, but sometimes he can be a little too energetic, so take things
very slow and monitor if introducing him to other cats!
A word of warning: He will spill stuff, knock things over, try and get in your food and more so
please–have some patience with him (lots of patience). He is such a rewarding little guy when you give
him what he needs. We’ll miss him, but we know that he’ll be going to his forever home!

Fees vary with special adoption events, but our standard adoption fee for an individual adult cat, between the ages of 6 months to 7 years, is $75. An adoption interest form/application and contract must be filled out by all adopters.
No adoptions are approved without visiting the shelter in person. Interest or application for adoption is not a guarantee. Volunteers attempt to match cats with an appropriate home setting/family, and adoptions are not first come, first serve.
