Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hey there, my name is Tucker! I am a sweet and goofy boy who can be scared of new people. If you take the time to get to know me I will be your best friend! I am an energetic and young dog who would do well in an active home that can continue to work on training with me. Please ask staff if you have any questions about me!
Foster notes on Tucker:
`Tucker had an awesome time on our adventure at Johnston Preserve! He was calm and relaxed in the car, quietly waiting in the back until we arrived. We got some good exercise on an extra long hike, and he was great on leash. He did lots of sniffing and seemed to really enjoy being out in the fresh air and sunshine.` `Snowy afternoon adventures with Tucker! He hopped in the car like a perfect gentleman and was ready to roll. From meeting Cookie and Mojo, to running fence side with the alpacas, playing ball, exploring the grounds, and winding down with a trail walk, this sweet, curious boy was all smiles. He even hung around with a new human friend (Ben) while he did some cleaning up. He was a little hesitant with Ben at first, but warmed up quickly when Ben waited until Tucker was ready. He checks in for treats, loves people, and is always game for an adventure. Tucker is silly, affectionate, and full of joy, and I’d love to see him with someone who matches his adventurous spirit.`

If the staff is unable to answer right away, please leave a clear message with your full name and contact number. Our staff responds to messages in the order they are received. Every effort will be made to respond to messages the same day, but it is possible that you may not receive a callback until the next business day due to the high volume of calls we often receive. See our operating hours on our website.
-Adopting-
Some animals can be taken home the same day they are adopted, but those adoptions must occur before a certain time of day and are dependent upon several factors. If you are interested in taking a pet home on the same day you adopt, please consult with the adoption desk to find out if that pet is able to go home right away. See more information on adoption and adoption fees on our website.
