My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet
This beautiful calico came to AFRP from Hitchcock Road Shelter where she turned up with newborn kittens at the age of only 6 months!

Kali is a very young, super petite kitten who’s as sweet as she is playful. She’s social and loves attention, especially when it comes with snuggles and her favorite chirping bird toy. Known as the queen of biscuit making, Kali kneads nonstop, even while standing still, as if she’s marching in place, running her own little bakery of love. Her favorite past times include chasing balls, batting at ribbons, and pulling toys into boxes, but most of all, she just wants to be loved and doted on!

She is easy to handle. She enjoys spending time with her people, helping them with their daily tasks and she loves being petted. She’ll even sit in your lap when she’s not too busy playing.

She has not been around dogs yet, but she’d do best in a home where she can be the only cat. Kaliki has not met children yet, but she’d likely do fine with children over the age of 10.

Kaliki is currently at our adoptions location inside Pet Food Express at the Crossroads in Carmel. A meet and greet can be scheduled once an online application has been received and approved.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.

All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
