Foster cat`s bio for their adoption profile: From the streets of Rosthern to living it up in the city, indoors with all the toys, snacks and love. I was a spicy boy when I first came to SCAT. I’ve calmed down a lot and I welcome affection and cuddles with boundaries. I’ve had a few obstacles to overcome but I’m recovering well and ready to find my forever family!
I am super playful and love wand toys- Once I get them in my teeth I try and run away with them! I love when my foster plays with me throwing balls - and I can entertain myself for hours with my roller ball toy!
I like to greet my foster with a hug, head butt and a scarf like cuddle.
I’m just figuring out this Christmas thing- don’t eat the tree- ornaments are for looking not touching, so many rules!
My nickname is Underpants!
Any special needs or traits the adopter should know about? (we may add this to the bio): Velvet sometimes will bite and scratch- usually when overstimulated, being touched in certain spots and with food he can show some aggression.

More about this rescue
Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
