Meet Popcorn, the resilient sweetheart who's now a total ray of sunshine! This girl came to us in a rough patch, but she's bounced back in the most amazing way. We won't dwell on the past-just know that Popcorn got her name because she had to overcome a little adventure involving a corn cob. Now she's all healed up and ready to bring endless joy to her forever family!
These days, Popcorn is pure happiness on four legs. She absolutely loves to play ball, and she's got a zest for life that's downright contagious. She's been around kids before and does great, and she's the perfect buddy for anyone who wants a cheerful, playful companion to enjoy life's adventures with. Whether she's flopped over for belly rubs or racing around with a big, goofy smile, she's all about living her best life.

Adoption viewing hours are from 8:00an-4:30 pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays 12pm-2pm. You must have a valid drivers license to apply. We do not do home checks. Adoption fees are $35 for dogs/pups, $25 cats/kittens and $150 for horses.
Effective Monday, August 17,2015, LAFAYETTE ANIMAL SHELTER & CARE CENTER will begin accepting VISA, MASTERCARD and DISCOVER credit cards. There will be a 2.5% surcharge/convenience fee added to your total. This fee is not greater than our cost of acceptance.
