I'm a one-year-old female orange tabby named Sandy!
I may be young but I’ve already been through a lot. I was rescued from a very bad situation where I wasn’t safe or cared for. Despite everything, I’ve held onto my sweet spirit—and now I’m ready to find a home where I can finally relax, play, and be loved.
I’m a ball of personality wrapped in a soft orange and white tabby coat. I’m not a lap cat, but I love being close to my people whether I’m following you from room to room or just hanging out nearby. I love keeping you company with my curious eyes and my constant commentary (yep, I’m a talker!). Sometimes I even meow to myself while I’m playing: it's just part of my charm.
Neck and cheek scritches are the fastest way to win me over. When I’m not soaking up affection, I’m darting after toys like a little whirlwind. Wand toys, rolling balls, random bits of fluff—I’ll chase them all, often while carrying on a full conversation.
Oh, and here’s a fun bonus: when I jump down from something high, I make a squeak toy noise when I land. It’s pretty silly and very me.
If you're looking for a playful, quirky, loving companion who will fill your home with fun, chatter, and the occasional squeak, I just might be your purr-fect match!
So if you feel like you can be that caring and loving purrent, please reach out to Dirty Little Paws Rescue at Dirtylittlepaws@gmail.com or fill out my adoption questionnaire. I can hardly wait to be part of your life.
Dirty Little Paws is a non-profit rescue in Southern California. We rescue from kill shelters and from the street, manage feral colonies, and promote TNR (trap, neuter, release). We need your help! Please adopt a pet from a Rescue. If you can't adopt, please foster. If you can't foster, please donate.
At Dirty Little Paws our mission is to save the lives of as many cats as possible. We respond to daily emergencies, fully vet each cat, release ferals back into their colonies, rehabilitate some, make sick cats well, hold adoption fairs, educate the public, and place a strong emphasis on sourcing donations through events & fundraisers so that this work may continue.

Additional adoption info
Our pet adoption process is fairly straightforward as outlined above. Basically, our potential adopters can contact us regarding pets they may be interested in, or can meet our pets, we will discuss the pet they're interested in, have them fill out an adoption application and ask some questions around that. If we feel the pet is a fit for the adopter we will then have them complete an adoption agreement perform a home check and collect the adoption fee. We will then deliver the brand new pet to their Happy Forever Home!
