Meet Sony🌷
💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_
1️⃣ Health Condition
* Not neutered yet.
* Microchipped.
* Showed an allergic reaction after receiving a rabies vaccination, but quickly recovered after an injection treatment. Caution is needed for future vaccinations.
2️⃣ Rescue Story
* Sony was rescued from the Gimje City Shelter along with several other young puppies. Tragically, most of them succumbed to parvovirus. Sony was also very ill and on the brink of death, but thanks to Adogs’ swift action, he was rescued just in time and his life was saved.
3️⃣ Basic Information
❗️As a puppy, he may need training in areas such as separation anxiety, potty habits, biting, nipping, whining, disorderly behaviors, howling and barking.
❗️It is difficult to predict his shedding and growth size because his parents are unknown.
* With People: Perhaps because she's still a puppy, she absolutely adores people and is full of affection! May be slightly wary around strangers at first, but quickly warms up and approaches them actively. When she's with someone familiar, she feels very secure — even sleeping comfortably with her belly exposed.
* With Dogs: Was very friendly and playful, and got along really well with the other dogs at our center. Doesn’t show signs of guarding behavior or sensitivity, and is generally calm. Even approaches unfamiliar dogs out of curiosity to sniff them. Plays and runs happily with familiar dogs.
* Separation Anxiety: Currently, at her foster home, she is able to stay alone calmly and even sleeps well by herself.
* Potty Training: Is almost 100% successful in familiar environments. In new spaces, the success rate drops, so she’s still being consistently trained. Also does well with outdoor potty — always relieves when out for a walk.
* Hygiene: Tolerates baths and having her paws dried very well. Seemed scared and a little startled during brushing. His legs shake when taking a bath. Sometimes tries timidly to get out of the bathtub, but gets it well without much resistance!
* Walks: Was a bit scared of walks at first, but now confidently wags her tail and walks really well! Walks calmly without pulling on the leash, and keeps pace with her person. Even when she notices other dogs, cats, or birds, she gets curious for a moment but quickly refocuses on her person.
* Car Sickness: Vomited during her initial ride to the foster home, but had no symptoms during her most recent trip to the vet.
* Nip: Showed slight mouthing behavior during her teething phase. After being gently corrected, she no longer does it.
* Barking: Sometimes whines a little, in needing attention with the presence of his guardian. Occasionally barks when he gets impatient while waiting for food.
* Like: Since she’s still young, she hasn’t had many types of treats. However, really enjoys the ones she’s allowed to have. Also absolutely loves toys!
* Dislike: Is still unfamiliar with brushing and tends to avoid it. Got scared and had a pee mistake with a gesture of "Bang" during a trick learning. Such trick has not been tried after then.
* Tricks: Knows “paw,” “sit,” “lie down,” “wait (for food), and "turn around"!” When told to wait, she patiently stays calm even when her caregiver leaves her out of sight — such a well-mannered pup! Is getting calling training, but shows still 60-70% success rate.
