Twinkle, twinkle handsome STAR - watching you return all the love we've been waiting to give you, has our eyes welling up with happy tears. Coming into our care with his siblings when the owner who had raised them so lovingly for all of their lives, was without options - it's understandable that they felt dislocated and uneasy. Fear is a powerful thing and this elegantly, tuxedoed boy was initially not ready to open his heart to us. Star is a perfect example of why we just don't give up on these sensitive cats; they are the ones who will bond most deeply with the ones who love them.
What makes our hearts overflow completely, is that Star is now the silliest, sweetest boy! He's the cat we knew was just beneath the surface on arrival - waiting to find the courage to trust again. A churu (or a freeze dried minnow on special occasions) puts him in the friend zone almost immediately! He revels in your touch and even snorts in absolute contentment. Rubbing those soft, inviting cheeks all over you and wrapping a happy tail around your arm - it's going to make you feel some things. Is he your lucky star? He just might be!
The Rescue is open 7 days a week for you to come and meet our pets! Walk-ins are welcome! In order to interact with them, you’ll need a simple questionnaire filled out. You can fill this out at the Rescue or before you come in at: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/36923/generic
