We have learned that Gianna is very sweet even though she can be extremely shy at first. She came to the shelter with little training and is working on all of her skills including potty training, leash, walking and socialization. She takes many of her cues from the dogs in her foster household and would greatly benefit from being adopted by a household with a resident dog who is patient and playful. She takes her time to trust humans and is shy of most things in the world.
She enjoys spending time outside and has figured out how to use the dog door in her foster home. She is independent and likes to spend time by herself, but this may also be as she is wary of unfamiliar humans. She is still figuring out that toys are fun to play with and has a preference for chews and kongs for enrichment.
