I am a young, feisty lovebug! I have lots of energy and love to run and play, but I also adore people and want to hang out and snuggle in your lap. I adjust quickly to new situations – I am very outgoing and bold.
In the morning I like to hunt and play. I am a big talker and will let you know when it is time for breakfast. I want to be involved with everything people are doing, and I am a big “helper”. In the afternoon I take a break and want to curl up in a lap and chill.
I love food and treats and am not picky at all. My litter box manners are impeccable!
Hobbies: Hanging out with people
Favorite Toy: I love to run and pounce on wand toys, especially the mouse! Ribbon toys are a little scary.
Favorite Napping Spot: I like perches like the cat tree where I can keep an eye on things, but I really want to be on your lap
HOW I CAME TO THE PGSPCA
I appeared at a local cat colony with bite wounds all over my head. A nice lady brought me to the vet and found out I was friendly. Now my wounds are all healed and I am ready to stay indoors!
DREAM FAMILY
I am brave and want to spend lots of time with people. My dream home would have people who are home a lot and who like to play and cuddle with me. Sometimes I get overstimulated and need to take a break, so I would be a better companion for adults and older kids who can read my body language.
My Profile
Age: 2 years old
Good with kids: No
Good with dogs: No
Good with other cats: unsure
Suitable for townhouse and/or apartment: Yes
Activity level: Energetic and playful

All of our adoptions begin with a visit to one of our adoption events. The adoption coordinator and/or the pet's foster parent will review the applications received. The applicant (if any) whose responses best fit the needs of the particular pet will generally be contacted within a week to schedule a home visit. A vet check and personal reference is also required prior to visiting your home. Our non-refundable adoption fee is $250 for dogs, $85 for kittens ($150 for a pair of kittens), and $75 for an adult cat. The fee covers spay/neuter, core vaccines (distemper and rabies), deworming, microchipping, and the general care of the animals. Per our contract, if you cannot keep your adopted pet for any reason, it must be returned to our program. We will try to find it a new home.

We don't have a central shelter facility, so the best place to meet our adoptable cats and dogs is at our adoption shows! Please check www.pgspca.org -> adopt -> adoption_show_attendees the day before the show and we will do our best to let you know if he/she will be there!

More about this rescue
The PGSPCA is a nonprofit organization of volunteers dedicated to animal welfare. We are chartered by the State of Maryland, but we receive no state or county funds. Our activities are supported solely by contributions, dues and fundraising events.
We have three main objectives:
• To reduce the number of unwanted litters of dogs and cats through our progressive spay/neuter program – We have altered more than 20,000 animals over the past five years, many of them at no charge;
• To prevent cruelty to animals and all animal suffering through humane education, neglect and cruelty investigations, protective legal action, and an active dog and cat adoption program – We receive about 1,000 calls a month for cruelty investigations, spay and neuter assistance and adoption requests;
• To protect all animals against suffering and abuse through education on legislation affecting the protection of all animals – We regularly educate the public and provide testimony about animal welfare to county and state legislators.
