What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
My two college roommates and I adopted BettySuu (now responds to Bugsy also) when I was in college in the summer of 2008. She is approximately 17 years old. She is beautiful and has been a very sweet companion over the years. She likes to be around her owner and is very easy to make happy with small amounts of attention.
She has lived with another adult female cat, but I would not recommend she live with other animals if possible. They eventually adapted to each other and got along, but it took awhile.
We have a two year old and a two month old, and it has not been good for her to be around young children. She is stressed out by the two year old who antagonizes her and we now have another baby that will add to the stress. Due to the stress, she has been acting out and her behavior is changing. We would prefer she move to a home where she can get her desired amount of attention.
Adoption comes with litter box, scratching post, grooming supplies, starter food, etc.
