Looking for your tall, dark, and handsome dream date? Meet Jimmy! This 84-pound lab mix is basically the full package—long legs, gentle soul, and a smile that’ll melt your heart. He’s food-
motivated (so dinner dates are his love language), adores people, and believes all attention should be directed his way. Jimmy is an adventurous guy who’s always up for exploring, but he’s equally happy claiming half the
couch for some serious cuddle time. His leash skills could use a little polishing, but hey—every good relationship is about growing together, right? Swipe right on Jimmy, and you’ll never go a day without tail wags and unconditional love!
*Sleepover feedback: "Jimmy is a big guy with an even bigger heart who likes to have BIG fun!
He loves toys and bones and will entertain himself with them, throwing them in the air and swatting them across the floor. He would do best with an active family and would be a great walking or running partner. We worked hard on his leash walking skills and he made really great progress while he was with us. He met lots of new friends on our walks and got many compliments on his gentle and friendly personality. Jimmy rides great in the car and had no accidents in the house, as we took him out on a regular schedule with our own dogs".
*Additional feedback: " He got along great with my brother's 90 pound red lab. They played/wrestled for several hours on Thanksgiving. He has no problem going in the crate and sleeps through the night".
**Hiking feedback: "Jimmy is a gentle giant. He was friendly with all of the other dogs and people in our walking group, just a big sweetheart. When we stopped, he sat on my foot and was a great calm dog".

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccines, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.
If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please complete an Adoption Application at our website: savinggracenc.org
Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption.
Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.

More about this rescue
Located in central North Carolina and officially established in 2004, Saving Grace has placed over 15,000 dogs into homes since its inception. These dogs were from rural animal control facilities with little resources and who would otherwise not had the opportunity to receive necessary veterinary care and a chance at adoption. While we have grown significantly over the years and have been successful growing our numbers we still see many great dogs miss the opportunity of adoption.
We have a large variety of dogs varying in breed, size, shape, age and needs and would love to work with you to find you a great dog companion while providing a dog in need with a loving home. Our dogs are chosen based on temperament and socialization. We get some of the most charming, unique mix breeds as well as some striking purebreds. Our dogs come from rural, underserved areas and while they may have little experience as an indoor family member, they have the temperament and personality that is sure to bring much love and appreciation to their new home. Most have started their crate training while in our program. Veterinary care including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test, vaccinations, monthly preventatives are provided prior to each adoption. If you would like more information about adopting one of our dogs, please email savinggrace@savinggracenc.org
