Hercules is an almost one year old male Hound mix, who has a handsome coat with a unique brindle color that is a very dark brown. In fact, it almost looks glossy black whenever Hercules is in the shade, but then his brindle stripes show up beautifully in sunlight. He is very shy at first, but just spend a little time with him and his beautiful sweet nature will shine through for you. Treats are definitely a good way to bring him out of his shell, and he takes them ever-so-gently from your hand. Hercules is currently living in the same pen as his sister Heather, and the two pups do really well together. A good way to introduce yourself is to go inside their pen and hang out for a while with these two wonderful dogs. They may shy away when you first enter, but they quickly show their joy - in the gentlest of ways - at having visitors who give them attention. Once Hercules is comfortable, he reveals his affectionate side and becomes a total snuggle bug, ready to pour his heart into the people he trusts. If you’re searching for a loyal, loving soul to share your days with, Hercules could be the perfect pup to win your heart!
The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.
