He’s always ready to join in the action—whether it’s playtime, walks, or just hanging out with his favorite humans. Marley walks beautifully on a leash, enjoys being handled, and absolutely loves his toys—especially balls and squeaky ones!

The adoption process takes time because we are committed to giving you all the information and support you need to have a successful adoption. TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN ADOPTION, YOU MUST:
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Provide a suitable confined area for the animal.
• Understand that the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe reserves the right to deny any adoption.
Our adoption fees are as follows: Dogs (over five months) = $150.00 Puppies (under five months) = $200.00 Cats (over five months) = $75.00 Kittens (under five months) = $100.00 Adoption fees will be due upon completion of adoption. Cash, check or credit cards are gladly accepted.

We encourage potential adopters to come to the shelter to meet the animal they are interested in adopting during our public hours! Every pet adopted from the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated & microchipped.
