My name is Remy!

Remy is one of several cats an evicted owner abandoned, all in terrible condition, severely flea-infested and suffering from flea dermatitis. With medical treatment, Remy’s health is now perfect. Initially, he was traumatized and very upset, but after a few days of adjustment in his foster home, he's now a calm, interactive cat who seeks out company. He is curious and enjoys new people and situations in the house. He’s a big boy with a majestic lion’s face and a coat that gets softer and shinier every day. He sheds very little.  Remy makes his needs clear. He meows when he wants to play. His favorites are string toys and laser tag. He meows when he wants to be brushed, petted, or massaged, even on his belly. When he doesn’t want you to pet him, he meows for that too. And Remy meows when he wants more food, especially wet food. By day Remy is fairly independent, though he always stays near you. At night he enjoys sleeping on your bed and appreciates a cuddle every now and then. Since he grew up with other cats, we think he’d like the company and amusement of a feline friend. Remy will do best in a home without little kids who may not understand his communication. An experienced cat owner who can read Remy’s signals will have a devoted and affectionate friend.
