Say hi to Rip, a 3 year old big dog with the biggest personality. He can be weary of new people at first but once he warms up you fall in love immediately. He is great with some other dogs but can be selective, so a meet and greet will be necessary. Rip grew about around and loves to be around kids, but cats can sometimes be a little too much for him. He loves a good game of fetch and will gladly go with you on any adventure, whether it be camping, hiking, or road tripping. Ready to meet him? He will win your heart over with the biggest bunny hops and silliest personality! Rip was a lucky boy who got to spend a couple of months with the best foster. He thrived in the home. Here is what she had to say: I have loved having rip and seeing his personality grow. He’s a big dog with a huge goofy personality and it’s extremely intelligent. He takes a little bit of time to ease his anxiety and calm down but once he does he’s the biggest lover boy ever. He’s as happy on the hill hiking as he is cuddling on the couch, he just wants to be with his person. That being said I have not had any problems with separation anxiety with him. I can leave him at the house and trust him that when I get home everything’s in place and he’s just waiting for me to get here. He loves the snow and water and while his leash manners need work, he has improved a lot. I think he would be a great dog for an active family who can give him lots of love and attention, which I won’t be able to do once I’m back at work. I do think he would be better in a house as a solo dog, as he does get jealous and is still reactive to some dogs. He has put on some weight and is doing a lot better taking treats and eating now.
