He is a sweet and generally chill dog with a loving personality once he's comfortable, but he does come with a few challenges that a new owner should be prepared for. He has a history of being aggressive, particularly during grooming and when it comes to guarding his food. He's also had limited interactions with other dogs and was unfortunately attacked by another dog a few years ago, which has understandably shaped some of his current behavior. Despite these challenges, I genuinely believe he has the potential to thrive in the right environment. Ideally a household without children, preferably an adult male who has experience with dog behavior or is willing to invest time and patience into training and building trust. With consistency, attention, and a calm, understanding home, I know he can become the amazing companion he's meant to be. My only goal is to find him a home where he can feel safe, understood, and cared for.
