If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Bonded pair in need of new fur-parents. Rose and Henry (https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/46010188-rialto-california-cat) are siblings; my late sister's cats. They were found as 3-ish-month-old kittens in late June 2021. Vet guessed they were bottle raised, living in a cat carrier, and escaped during fireworks. My sister didn't intend to keep them but never got around to finding them a new home. They're being cared for while we get ready to sell the house, but I can't keep them.
Neither is a lap sitter. Both like hammocks. They don't get along with the other cat in the house (who was there first). Rose is stand-offish with new people, but amiable once she's gotten used to you. She is playful and enjoys chasing her spring-toy.
