My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

✨💙 Meet Rossi – Recently Rescued and Ready for His Second Chance! 💙✨

Rossi’s life was on the line at Stanislaus Animal Shelter, but thanks to amazing teamwork he is now SAFE with us! 🙌 This gorgeous 2-year-old Belgian Malinois (ID #A602113) is around 71 pounds, neutered, and full of love and potential. Now Rossi is in need of a committed foster or adopter to help him continue his journey.

🐾 About Rossi:
    •    Smart, affectionate, and playful – a true working-breed dreamboat!
    •    Loves attention, leans in for cuddles, and will happily roll over for endless belly rubs.
    •    Moderate to high energy – enjoys fetch, the pool, and exploring.
    •    Knows “sit,” takes treats gently, and is easy to leash up and walk.
    •    Possibly potty-trained, walks nicely on leash, and Doggie Day Out approved.

🐕 Other Dogs:
    •    Tested well with a calm female dog – polite greetings and even tried to play.
    •    A female sibling would likely be the best fit if he joins a home with another dog.
    •    Can get over-aroused around some males, so slow intros are important.

💡 Ideal Home:
Rossi would thrive with someone experienced with working breeds who can give him structure, training, and love. He hasn’t shown separation anxiety, entertains himself in the yard, and is ready to keep learning.

📍 Currently rescued from Stanislaus Animal Shelter (Modesto, CA), Rossi is ready for a foster or forever family to step up!

🐾 Rossi comes fully vetted – vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.

👉 If you can foster or adopt Rossi, please reach out today! Let’s give this handsome boy the stable and loving home he deserves.

Additional adoption info

Into the Wild Farm Adoption Process

At Into the Wild Farm, we believe every animal deserves a safe, loving, and forever home. Our adoption process is designed to ensure the best match between each animal and their new family, while keeping the animal’s well-being as the top priority.

Step 1: Submit an Adoption Application

Interested adopters begin by filling out our detailed adoption application. This helps us learn more about your lifestyle, home environment, and experience with animals so we can make the best possible match.

Step 2: Application Review

Our team carefully reviews each application. We may reach out for additional information or clarification to ensure we understand your needs and expectations.

Step 3: Reference & Home Checks

To ensure a safe and stable placement, we conduct reference checks and, when necessary, a home visit (in-person or virtual). This helps us confirm that the environment is appropriate for the animal you wish to adopt.

Step 4: Meet & Greet

Once approved, we arrange a meet-and-greet with the animal. This step allows you, your family, and any current pets to interact with the animal in a safe and supportive environment.

Step 5: Adoption Agreement & Donation

If both sides feel it’s the right match, you’ll complete our adoption agreement, which outlines your responsibilities as an adopter. We ask for an adoption donation, which helps cover veterinary care, spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and other rescue costs.

Step 6: Bringing Your New Family Member Home

With everything finalized, your new companion is ready to go home! We provide transition tips and ongoing support to help make the adjustment as smooth as possible.

Step 7: Lifelong Support

Adoption doesn’t end when the paperwork is signed. We remain a resource for you and your adopted pet for life. If circumstances ever change, we require that the animal be returned to Into the Wild Farm so we can continue their journey to a safe home.
