This one eyed Tortie was found wandering around an apartment complex, nearly ready to give birth. She is very friendly but by the time someone had rounded her up her kittens had been born. After raising them, they have all been adopted. Now it is time for this sweet momma to find a home that will not abandon her. She is very much a house cat and loves a good cuddle companion. Having only one good eye does not slow her down but it does increase her risk if she is outdoors. She needs an indoor only home.
Trudie is being fostered with a friend in Shasta county but she is willing to drive her over for an extended meet.
She has been spayed, tested and had her shots. She has not been microchipped but that can be done prior to adoption.
Adoption fee to the right home is negotiable,

We rescue animals from high kill shelters or abandoned local strays and foster them until they find an adoptive home. Our southern branch also goes out on emergency rescue calls for cats in drain and sewer pipes, up trees, stuck in walls etc. Transport in available up and down the state of CA. We also TNR local stray and feral populations. The plight of homeless animals moves us deeply. It is unspeakably horrific to see gentle loving animals killed simply because they are homeless. While we cannot save them all, each one saved deserves it. We are a 501c3 registered, CA non-profit corporation.
