SAILOR A HANDSOME YOUNG DOG. GOOD WITH ALL DOGS AND PEOPLE!
This sweet, young fellow is Sailor and he came into our rescue when we were told about four dogs that were living with an unhoused man who allowed the dogs to roam freely in the streets while dodging traffic. Thankfully, we were able to get him to surrender all of the dogs to us. We got them straight to our vet where they were all fully vetted. Sailor is now looking for his forever home! This sweet boy is a 1-year-old, 54lb,Kelpie / Akita. He wants to please and craves human companionship. He is just freaking awesome, listen to his name can be goofy and playful, it’s just so rewarding to see a pup that had absolutely nothing and no future to see him play with toys and bones for the first time is priceless . Also he is not recourse guarding and very willing to share if we tell him to. , what a fantastic dog and so loyal. Someone that is not gone long hours during the day, and a home with a safe and secure yard for him to play in. Active owners that will walk daily is exactly what he needs! He is such a wonderful dog and is good with everyone he meets! He deserves the best forever home out there and we won't stop till we find it! This one is like hitting the Jackpot. 🔥❤️😍💕

I've been an animal lover and activist all my life. I use to live in Southern California and had a pet supply store from 1995 to 2010 where we only had rescue animals for adoption. I was one of the very first to apply this concept of getting animals out of high kill shelters and finding them good homes. In those 15 years I placed over 16 thousand animals. I left California in 2016 and moved to Washington. Since living here I noticed that there are not as many animals here for adoption and, knowing the situation in LA, I wanted to start rescuing again. I am home most of the time and I have a lot of knowledge about dogs.
