My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Naomi!

Naomi is a stunning Catahoula mix just over a year old who’s as smart as she is sweet. She came into our care with her sister, Wynonna, and is now ready to find a loving family of her own.

This energetic girl loves to stay active and would make a wonderful adventure buddy — whether it’s walks, playtime, or learning new tricks, Naomi is always eager to join in. She’s incredibly intelligent and aims to please, which makes training both fun and rewarding. And when the fun is over, she’s more than happy to curl up by your side for some affection.

If you’re looking for a loyal, lively companion with a heart of gold, Naomi is ready to be your new best friend.

All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated, if necessary.

More about this shelter

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
