Scarlett is a charming little brindle pup with a heart full of love and a nose that’s always on the hunt for treats! Her food motivation makes training a breeze—she’s already nailed “sit” and “look,” and she’s making great progress on “with me” (recall). Leash walking and house training are coming along beautifully, too.

This smart cookie would thrive in a home with a secure yard where she can safely explore and play. She may also enjoy the company of another dog to keep her entertained and help her continue building confidence.

Our foster dogs/pups are all in foster homes and can be met by appointment. We also will have regular adoption events at PetSmart and Pet Supply Plus stores.

Active Paws rescue will help pets in need through sheltering, adoption, education, spay/neuter, and community outreach.

Active Paws Rescue would love to see that every animal knows love and kindness. No animal should have to endure needless neglect and suffering. We will provide a voice to those that need it most.

We believe in not only helping the animals but educating our local communities on how to do better.
