My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Yang. I’m a very cute bunny who considers myself royalty. I was transferred in, so AWLA doesn’t know a lot about my history, but they do know that I take time to build trust. I’m in a foster home now working on that, and my foster Mom thinks I didn’t have my boundaries respected in the past and I may act up a bit if I’m unhappy. I’ve gotten better at expressing my feelings in other ways, but I am looking for a home with a patient bunny owner who can help me become my best self.

I’ve learned to like a bit of Romaine lettuce each day but currently haven’t tried any other veggies or fruits I’ve been offered. I do like to explore, zoom, and chew on things. Having a crinkled ball of paper is great to toss around. No matter what, I’ll come for a timothy hay treat and take it out of your hand though, so that is great. I also like scratches on my head only (as of now). I like to hang out on the bed with my foster Mom and do my own thing while she scrolls or ignores me. I’ve even hopped on her as long as she pretends not to notice. I know with some patience and love, I’ll learn to fully open up!

If you’re someone who is patient, kind, and willing to treat me like the queen I am at my pace, we will be great together. I can’t wait to meet you!

I am available for adoption from my foster home! To learn more about meeting me, email adoptions@alexandriaanimals.org or call 703.746.4774, option 2.
