Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Martin the Warrior – the brave goofball with a heart of gold!
Martin earned his name for a reason. This resilient pup came to us from a small Texas town after surviving heartbreaking neglect — a rope embedded in his neck left him with painful wounds and infection. But thanks to the amazing care he’s received (and his unstoppable spirit!), Martin has healed beautifully — both inside and out.
Now in foster care, Martin is truly thriving! He’s a mid-sized Lab mix with a big, goofy grin and a love for adventure. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has even been doing great with cats. Once timid, he now seeks out playtime, belly rubs, and snuggles — and has learned that life can be full of joy and comfort.
Martin is also a quick learner and a great listener. He’s still young and has some playful puppy energy, so he’d do best with a family who’s ready to match his enthusiasm and continue showing him the ropes. He hasn’t been tested with small children yet, but his affectionate and friendly nature shines through in everything he does.
Martin has already overcome so much — now all he needs is a forever family to share in his adventures and give him the love he’s always deserved.
Come meet Martin and see for yourself what a true warrior looks like — gentle, brave, and full of life.
