Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ABOUT NEVAEH
Nevaeh is a 2.5-year-old Beagle mix who came to HAP when her previous owners could no longer care for her. She’s a sweet, talkative girl with all the wonderful traits that Beagle lovers adore! True to her breed, Nevaeh loves to sniff and explore the world around her, every walk is an adventure for her nose. When she’s not busy investigating new scents, she’s a total cuddlebug who loves to be close to her people. Nevaeh has a playful, affectionate personality and enjoys sharing her day with anyone willing to listen to her cheerful “Beagle talk.” She would make a loving and loyal companion for someone who appreciates an outgoing, curious, and snuggly pup. Nevaeh has also participated in our Doggy Day Out program, here's what one volunteer had to say about her:
"I had such a great time hanging out with Nevaeh today! She was an absolute sweetheart. She whined a little in the car but did very well overall. On leash, she was great and would check in with me every so often. From afar, she seemed interested in other dogs in a friendly, curious way. All she wanted to do the whole time was sniff and explore! She also loved climbing up on rocks a bit, which was adorable. When we sat down for a while, she cuddled right up into my lap and took a nap. Overall, Nevaeh is a very sweet, well-behaved dog who would make a wonderful addition to someone’s family. I really hope she gets adopted soon!"
If you're interested in this dog, you are welcome to submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is first-come, best-match basis. We are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in a specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children's and other dogs, must come for the meeting to ensure its a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fee's include the animals spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
