Over the years, our incredible staff and volunteers have poured their hearts into Randy, not only making sure his daily needs are met, but spending the extra time to gently show him that people can be safe, kind, and full of love. And slowly, it’s working. Randy has begun to open up, leaning into hands he once pulled away from, learning that affection can be something wonderful.
For a cat like Randy, these moments of trust feel like miracles. He doesn’t just need a home, he needs his home. One filled with patience, compassion, and the promise that he will finally have the love he’s been waiting for all these years.
Randy is bonded with Spot—his brave, confident BFF who makes him feel safe enough to peek out from the shadows. She’s the peanut butter to his jelly, the Thelma to his Louise, the extrovert to his introvert (well, she’s more extroverted than him at least).
We’d love to see them adopted together, or for Randy to find a home with another cool cat who can be his emotional support sidekick.
