My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Cinnamon got her name from her beautiful warm coloring, but don't let the cozy name fool you - this girl's got spice. She's all about action: chasing toys, pouncing on lasers, and showing off her Olympic-level parkour skills around the room.

While she's not big on cuddles, Cinnamon is full of personality and would thrive in a home that loves her independence and playful energy. She's looking for a forever home that appreciates a cat who knows what she wants - fun, freedom, and feather toys.

Cinnamon has really started coming out of her shell recently especially to any regular staff or volunteers that play with her often...even letting them pet her at times. She greet them at the doors and has even been caught pawing at the doors to make noise to get their attention if they are not playing with her. She wants to play, play, play and hopes that she can find someone who wants to be the laser master or fly her toy birds above her for her to catch.

She gets along well with other cats, especially if they like to play as much as she does.

Go meet their pets

Come meet your new best friend! You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens at our shelter located at 3412 Oaklawn Blvd. We welcome visitors to come see the animals, spend a little time with them, and find the perfect match.

Public viewing is available during our regular hours, and visits can also be arranged by appointment on our "closed" days during staff hours so you can have dedicated time to meet specific pets. If you’d like to stop by, please reach out. We’d love for you to visit, say hello, and meet the wonderful cats waiting for their forever homes.

More about this rescue

The Hopewell Humane Society (HHS) is a small, loving nonprofit that has been serving the Hopewell community since the 1960s. We focus on helping unwanted and abandoned animals feel safe, cared for, and ready for their forever homes. Our work is powered mainly by volunteers - along with a small, dedicated staff - and supported entirely by donations from people who care as much as we do.

Every animal with us is treated like family, and our spay/neuter efforts help reduce overpopulation and save lives each year. If you’re looking to adopt, volunteer, or support our mission, we’d be thrilled to welcome you. When you adopt from HHS, you don’t just give an animal a home, you give them hope.
