Meet Maggie: Maggie is a 2-year-old mixed-breed dog who was transferred to us from Georgia in September of 2025. She has a calm, lower energy demeanor that would make her a wonderful fit for a quieter household, including an apartment or condo setting. Maggie enjoys a relaxed pace and appreciates having her own space to feel comfortable and secure. Maggie walks well on a leash, making her an easy and pleasant companion for daily outings. She can do well with other dogs when given proper, thoughtful introductions and prefers canine companions who respect her personal space. With the right match and guidance, she can coexist peacefully with another dog. At this time, we are unsure if Maggie is housetrained or how she does with cats or children, so slow, patient introductions and continued guidance will be important as she settles into a new home. With understanding, consistency, and a calm environment, Maggie has the potential to thrive and become a gentle, loyal companion.
