Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Madison is a 3yr-old, 45lbs brindle terrier that arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 10/2 as a stray. When she was out in the yard, she would stay still for long periods of time but then would casually wander around. When I called her from across the yard, she slowly came to me. She is timid, cautiously friendly, and does want affection. She’s alert and looked out the gate. She took some coaxing to walk on a leash. If you have another dog, please ask the shelter to do a dog test. Madison needs TLC and affirmations to relax and then blossom. She’s a work in progress. It’s difficult to see what her true personality will be once trust is established . There’s no doubt though that she is sweet and wants to be loved. She could use some groceries. When she was out in the yard, she would stay still for long periods of time but then would casually wander around. She’d like to watch TV with you, and she’s not fussy about what she watches as long as she’s with you.
