Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Shae's story is one of pain, healing, and unbelievable resilience. When she arrived at Paw It Forward, she was broken—physically and emotionally. But we saw a spark in her. And with the support and generosity of our supporters, we fought for her. Shae was found by a Good Samaritan as a young kitten wandering in the road. She had no idea where she was and was just trying to survive. She was very sick, with upper respiratory infection and such horribly infected eyes that they were matted shut. A small helpless kitten…covered in fleas, scared, starving, with no vision and loud engine noises whirring by. It’s hard to imagine how this baby survived. With medications, surgery, time, and love, Shae slowly began to heal. Then came playtime. Then purring and cuddle time. She lost one of her eyes, so damaged that it could not be saved, but her vision in her remaining eye is strong. She has blossomed into a playful, loving playmate for her kitty friends. She is great with the dogs her foster home and she is gentle, cuddly and sweet. She is spayed, current on vaccines and litter-box trained. Shae needs a loving indoor-only home where she can spend her days surrounded by love, play, and safety—everything she was once denied. She is ready to take on the world in a forever home and will bring great joy to your life.
