Meet Midge, a tiny 9-week-old tabby with a big purr hidden behind her timid exterior. Midge’s start in life is a mystery—she was found on her own—but what we do know is that she’s a little survivor. She’s still putting on weight and can be a bit picky with her wet food, but when she finds something she likes, she’ll happily dig in.
At first, Midge might seem a little unsure—she’ll hiss when you reach out—but give her a few head and chin scratches, and she melts into a ball of purrs so loud they drown out everything else. If you’ve got her favorite food, that trust builds even faster.
Midge would do best in a calm home, ideally with other cats to show her the ropes and remind her that people can be kind. With a little patience, she’ll reward you with the sweetest companionship—and her incredible purrs are worth every ounce of love you put in.

Thank you for your interest in adopting a pet through the Laramie Peak Humane Society. LPHS strives to provide a hassle free adoption process that provides every adopter and potential pet with the best experience possible. If you are interested in adopting a pet, please submit a complete Adoption Application as soon as possible. Your application must include 2-3 references, and your veterinarians contact information. Once received, your application will be processed, references will be checked, and a home visit (excluding cats) will be scheduled at your earliest convenience.
Please note: The adoption process consists of three steps:
1. Complete Adoption Application Submitted
2. References Checked
3. Successful Home Visit completed (excluding cats)
The adoption process takes 24-72 hours to complete. Applications continue to be accepted, and an animal remains “available” until an adoption is finalized. Animals are placed after all 3 steps are successfully completed.
It is our policy to spay or neuter any dog that is old enough for our vets to alter.
Dog adoption fees are $125 for puppies (under 1), $100 for adults, and $30 for Senior dogs (8+). Dogs come microchipped, vaccinated, and altered.
It is our policy to spay or neuter any cat that is old enough for our vets to alter.
