Hi there! My name’s Violet, and I had the best day ever on my Shelter Paws adventure!
It started with a car ride — my favorite! I hopped right in, sat like a pro, and watched the world go by. I love how the wind feels on my face and how every ride means something fun is coming next. When we got to my chaperone`s house, I explored the backyard. Oh wow, it was perfect! I ran big happy circles, chased toys, and even played a great game of fetch. I brought the ball back every time — I’m pretty proud of that. My chaperone has kids and I had a lot of fun playing with them too! After all the fun, I came inside to rest. I know how to be calm and polite in a home, so I curled up and relaxed like a perfect little guest. I love cuddles and quiet moments just as much as I love playtime. I’m also great on leash walks, do all my potty business outside, and can even walk near a cat without making a fuss. So that’s me — Violet! A young, happy, well-mannered girl who’s just waiting for my forever family. I’ll make you laugh, keep you company, and curl up beside you when it’s time to rest. Could I be the one for you?

Animal Care Services (ACS) does not accept online submission of adoption applications. All adoptions are on a first come, first served basis.
1. Tour the kennels and find a pet you’re interested in. The shelter staff can help you get acquainted with your new friend.
2. Bring in the family (even the four-legged members) to meet your prospective pet.
3. Once you've made a decision, head to the ACS Adoption Center to complete your adoption.
NOTE: Adoptions are processed 30 minutes prior to closing time.

Dogs: $86
Cats: $34
We include the following services in the adoption fee:
Spay and neuter surgery
Lifetime registered microchip & tag
Rabies vaccination
Flea and tick prevention
First round of vaccinations
NOTE: Pets under the age of four months will need to be brought back to receive their rabies shots.
