Meet Amaya!
Amaya is a 7-month-old small Shepherd mix with a sweet, gentle heart. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is especially motivated by treats—offer her a snack and she’ll become your best friend in no time!
A little shy at first, Amaya warms up quickly and loves being part of the action once she feels safe. She’s housebroken with the help of a dog door, and because she’s still a young pup, she does best when crated while you’re away.
Amaya is ready to grow, learn, and love with her forever family. Could that be you?
Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more.)
You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization.
Her adoption fee is $100. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar.
Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org.
Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references, and criminal histories.
Our adoption events are held each Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Event hours are 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
