My name is Moxie! I was surrendered to Paddy's Paws along with 2 other dogs.
Moxie is now in a foster home with 5 other dogs and children aged 5 and 7. She is very sweet and sensitive and has enjoyed the opportunity to experience outside playtime and room to run! She loves affection and will excel in a home where she can get attention! She is incredibly smart and ready to learn and please. Moxie is an active breed, but adapts very well to routine! She is 100% kennel trained, housetrained, and excellent in the car. She likes to take walks and go on adventures. She would be best suited for a single family home versus an apartment and while a fenced yard would allow her to run, she can also do leash walks and runs. She would likely do well at a dog park with other fun loving pooches! She has lived with cats, but without another dog to play with, she would probably be a bit too much on the playful side for them.

Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care.
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
