My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sam. Isn't he the cutest little munchkin man?! He is 33 pounds of per love and personality. Master cuddler and silly clown.
Sam is an English Bulldog mix. He may have some Frenchie and/or Boster terrier in there, too. Who knows, we just know he is absolutely adorable.
This fella probably needs a home where he is the only furkid, as he's pretty overbearing and temperamental with other dogs in his space.
He would be the perfect companion for someone who just wants a cuddle buddy and entertainer, because he is quite hilarious. He makes the most fantastic pterodactyl and gremlin noises.
Sam loves to go for walks, rides and warm your lap on the sofa.
Guaranteed, this chunky monkey will keep a smile on your face and fill your heart with happiness.

Additional adoption info

An adoption application must be completed. Upon doing an initial screening of your application, a BBR volunteer will be in contact with you through the e-mail address that you provide on the application. After the initial screening is completed, a vet reference will be checked (provided the applicant has had pets in the past). The last step is a home visit, usually done by a BBR volunteer.

Upon adoption/transfer, an adoption contract will be signed. Adoption fees vary.

Go meet their pets

Bama Bully Rescue is a volunteer-run organization with members located all across the state of Alabama. We do not have one central location or a kennel. The dogs listed on our site are kept in foster homes, however some of our urgent dogs are stuck in shelters in Alabama. We work with many different Alabama shelters to try and give these dogs a chance at finding a home instead of automatically facing the euthanasia table.

At this time, BBR is the only Bully specific rescue located in Alabama.

While many of our volunteers do have experience in Bully rescue, we still need help in our mission. We hope that you will support us in our mission whether its by donating, recommending us to your friends, or becoming a foster home or volunteer (whether it is full time or part time), There are many Bullies out there who need our help, and we need your help to help them.
