My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Baby Cakes, a distinguished feline professional ready for her "retirement" after successfully raising a litter of five. Now that her kittens have found their forever homes, this refined gray tabby is seeking her own executive suite.
Baby Cakes is a dedicated and independent companion who excels in a tranquil environment. She thrives with older, considerate co-habitants and maintains a polite, professional distance from dogs. Her ideal role involves minimal "team-building" (cuddles) but offers high rewards for "performance incentives" like head scratches. She is a true expert in relaxation and prefers a quiet atmosphere where her personal space is respected.
Professional Qualifications:
Life Skills: Fully litter box trained and an indoor management expert.
Health Status: Peak condition with no medical or dietary restrictions.
Vetting: Fully vaccinated, combo tested (negative), and treated for all common pests.
Baby Cakes is officially open for placement. If your home has an opening for a sophisticated, self-starting companion, contact the Humane Society of Amherst County to extend an offer. If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is made up of two parts. Upon a decision to adopt an animal we require an application for adoption that asks questions such as housing and veterinary references. We then check references and may require a home visit. Upon approval you will fill out a contract for adoption and pay the adoption fees. Adoption fees are based on age and vetting required.
