Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Allow us to introduce Baby Cakes, a true professional in the art of motherhood and relaxation, who arrived at HSAC shortly after delivering her precious litter of five. While her kittens have all successfully launched their careers in new homes, Baby Cakes is now seeking her own executive suite.
During her time as a feline CEO, we were consistently impressed by her unparalleled dedication and loving nature towards her offspring. Now, having successfully completed her child-rearing duties, she's ready for a well-deserved "retirement."
Baby Cakes excels in environments with older, more considerate co-habitants (both human and feline). She maintains a professional, albeit distant, working relationship with dogs—she won't cause a scene in the break room, but she does require her personal space to be respected.
Her ideal role involves significant "desk time," primarily on a couch, where she can leverage her impressive talent for being a relaxed, gray-furred couch potato. She's a self-starter who values her independence and appreciates an occasional quiet retreat.
While not one for extensive "team-building exercises" (cuddles), she is open to performance incentives in the form of a good head scratch.
Rest assured, Baby Cakes is a highly qualified candidate. Here are some of the life management skills she has perfected:
Health: In peak condition, with no medical or dietary restrictions. A very healthy lady!
Credentials: Fully vetted, up-to-date on all vaccinations, combo tested with negative results, and proactively treated for all common pests.
Baby Cakes is ready to accept a new position in a loving home. Are you prepared to extend an offer? If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!

Our adoption process is made up of two parts. Upon a decision to adopt an animal we require an application for adoption that asks questions such as housing and veterinary references. We then check references and may require a home visit. Upon approval you will fill out a contract for adoption and pay the adoption fees. Adoption fees are based on age and vetting required.
