My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I showed up at an elderly couple's house and hung out on their back porch. Her husband had a stroke and was in a wheelchair. She needed to get her husband into their car the next day to get to the doctor and I was preventing that from happening. SPOT posted for help and a volunteer came to the rescue, and brought Todd to the SPOT office.

More about this rescue

We are the Wharton County Stray Pet Outreach Team (SPOT). We are a foster-based program. We spay/neuter, vaccinate, heartworm test and medically treat all the animals that we offer for adoption.
We are not animal control and do not have a facility. SPOT dogs and cats live in foster homes in Texas that provide a healthy and loving environment which prepares them to become life-long companions for their adoptive families.
