2⃣ Rescue Story
* Larva was admitted into the Gimje City Shelter without his mother, so he just spent time with the other puppies there. He had to live in a wire cage with holes big enough for his paws to fall through. We were concerned about the risk of contagious diseases and the dangerous summer heat, so he was rescued.
3⃣ Basic Information
* With People: Has a timid personality and is shy with strangers, but is also curious and tilts his head in curiosity. Has started coming closer and closer as he gets more comfortable, leaning against his foster parent and accepting touch. Now, he looks for opportunities to stick with his foster parent and enjoys being held. Has a lot of affectionate charms!
* With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs. Is smart and quick-witted, avoiding dogs that seem uncomfortable. Enjoys being close to his foster sibling.
* With Cats: When seeing them on walks, he doesn’t show interest since he’s busy following his foster sibling instead.
* Separation Anxiety: When his foster sibling is out or he is left alone, he whines. Right before being left alone, he even howls. But he quiets down quickly and lies down while waiting. Since he’s still a puppy, he’s currently receiving continuous training. Is a bit awkward when left with a stranger, but adjusts quickly.
* Potty Training: Goes potty indoors only and has achieved a 95% accuracy rate on potty pads. Doesn’t want to potty on a pad that’s already been used.
* Walks: Has only just started going on walks, but he’s pretty good at it! However, he’s scared of the sound of cars, people and objects with big movements, and uncomfortable with new places so he’s being walked with a double leash out of an abundance of caution. Still, he’s walks well with the double leash.
* Hygiene: Seems scared of baths and nail trims, but patiently gets through it. Doesn’t like the feeling of nails being trimmed, so he’s being trained through treats. Is scared of blow dryers but if you calm him down with treats, he’s fine.
* Car Sickness: Rides very well without motion sickness. Prefers comfortably sitting on the back seat or cars eats to being held.
* Even though he’s scared of people, he never bites even when being held. Is awkward but amiable at the same time!
* Barks for a moment when left alone at home without his foster sibling but calms down soon. Sometimes makes woof woof sounds when excited but he doesn’t react to outside noises or bark unnecessarily.
* Likes soft and fluffy places. Isn’t greedy with food but really loves to eat.
* Is scared of things that approach quickly and is still adjusting to city life.
* Has mastered ‘wait,’ ‘sit’ and 'paw.' Is practicing ‘lie down.’
