Meet our adorable and petite boy named Prince! Prince is about 3 years old and we think he is some kind of Boxer mix. Don't let Prince's sad face fool you. He does have a goofy and playful side, with lots of love to share! Prince has been living in a different municipal shelter in CT since July with no luck finding a home. We offered to help bring him to our shelter due to them being full and needing help. Prince is the sweetest boy who just wants to be in your lap! He is really coming out of his shell here and showing us his outgoing/playful side! Prince loves to chase around toys in our backyard and he loves a good full body rub. He is definitely a dog who would make a wonderful cuddle buddy! Prince is good with other dogs and he tested non reactive to cats. He can go to a home with children 10 years old and older.

MAC IS OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK (M-F 8-4pm) (Sat-Sun 10-4pm) Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. Appts to meet dogs can made to suit your schedule, please email/call for an appt. We do prefer to be contacted by email for adoption inquiries at Adopt@savingpawsct.org. You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.
Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal.

An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments.

ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
