My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nickname: Lena Girl
Time in Care: 70 days and still waiting
Elena is a big, beautiful Pyrenees–Lab mix with an equally big heart, and she’s patiently waiting for her forever home. She arrived with her boyfriend, Damon, and their son, Stefan, after their family could no longer care for them, but this lovely girl is confident, calm, and content whether she’s with them or on her own. A gentle soul with a silly streak, Elena may be mellow, but she loves to play. She enjoys her toys, gets bursts of goofiness, and absolutely delights in showing off her fun, playful side. She’s fully housebroken and happiest in a peaceful home with teens or adults who can appreciate both her laid-back nature and her moments of joyful silliness. While she can be selective with other dogs, she’s generally comfortable around cats, and we’re happy to schedule a meet-and-greet for any potential canine companions. Elena tends to connect best with other easy-going pups who enjoy a relaxed pace of life (with a little playtime sprinkled in). After 70 days with us, this stunning, sweet, and secretly goofy girl is so ready to bring her warmth, playfulness, and steady companionship to a lucky family. Could that be you? 🖤
