We rescued Trooper about a year and a half ago in July of 2024. His previous owner had to re-home him due to work relocation and could not bring him.
Trooper took time to get adjusted to the new home. It was stressful for us as he was not eating, constantly urinating in the house, and going through the garbage. Those problems were solved within a few weeks.
He is much easier to be around women than men. He is great with me but he definitely has more of an attachment to my fiance.
We recently had a baby and Trooper has had jealousy issues when it comes to her holding the baby. He is not showing aggression, but he's become worked up and will try to bump the baby from her arms and its become a risk we are not willing to take.
We have an 11 and 15 year old in the house which he is fine with. He butts heads with the cat as well, playfully.
He needs owner who can provide training and the attention he deserves. He is playful and energetic.
