Borrow a Buddy Notes:Kitana is a graceful pup with a soft, toffee colored coat. We went on a long walk around the Elmwood neighborhood. She did well on the leash and did not pull. Kitana is sensitive to loud noises, so we stayed on the quieter streets. Afterwards she ate a whole burger patty and a cup of whipped cream! If you’re looking for a loyal companion who needs your patience as much as your love, I think we could make a wonderful team.

To adopt a pet from the SPCA of Texas, we not only help make love connections, but we then walk you through an adoption process that is geared to ensuring you and the pet are a great match. There is a contract to sign at the end of the process. Adoption fees are as follows:
Puppies 0-6 months: $150
Adult dogs 6 months or older: $75

The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations (which can include Rabies, Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Parainfluenza and Bordetella), spay/neuter surgery, deworming treatment, initial heartworm preventative, a rabies tag, Free health examination within fourteen days of the adoption thanks to our partnership with VCA Animal Hospitals, a leash and a microchip. Dogs over 6 months of age are also given a heartworm test (SNAP occult). Free week of training through Good Pup.
