My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I’m Kitana,
I’m a one-year-old pup with a gentle heart and a shy soul. New people, new places, new sounds… it all feels pretty big to me. I’m the kind of girl who needs a quiet home where I can take things one small step at a time. Loud noises and fast movements can make me tuck my tail, but with kind words and soft hands, I start to feel safe again. I promise I’m worth the wait. Underneath my timid exterior, I’m full of love that’s just waiting to bloom. Every day I get a little braver, and every calm moment with a gentle human helps me build my confidence.

Borrow a Buddy Notes:Kitana is a graceful pup with a soft, toffee colored coat. We went on a long walk around the Elmwood neighborhood. She did well on the leash and did not pull. Kitana is sensitive to loud noises, so we stayed on the quieter streets. Afterwards she ate a whole burger patty and a cup of whipped cream!
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who needs your patience as much as your love, I think we could make a wonderful team.

Come meet me from 12 PM to 6 PM, open every day.
No application or appointment required - walk-ins welcome.
