My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Matrix. Yes, that Matrix.
Some dogs just operate on a different level, and Matrix is one of them. He’s bright, engaging, and seems to read the room like he’s plugged directly into it. Whether it’s playtime, training time, or “hang-out-with-my-people time,” Matrix knows exactly how to show up.
Matrix loves being outside and thrives in social settings. He’s had playdates with other shelter dogs and done wonderfully, navigating group play with confidence and friendly energy. If there’s a good time happening, Matrix is already there, tail wagging, ready to join in.
He’s young, curious, and clearly built for learning. New experiences, new skills, new routines, Matrix takes it all in stride and figures things out quickly. He enjoys engagement, problem-solving, and being mentally switched on, especially if treats are part of the equation.
When things slow down, Matrix is happy to stay close to his people. He’s affectionate, social, and enjoys being part of the moment, even if that moment is just relaxing nearby and soaking it all in.
Matrix has also earned the title of FredNats MVP (Most Valuable Pet), which means his adoption fee is fully sponsored. No red pills, no blue pills, just a really great dog ready for his next chapter.
Come meet Matrix. Once you’re in his orbit, it’s hard not to see why he’s a standout.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is easy! No home visits, no reference checks. We have many dogs and cats available for adoption.
Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, microchip & registration, basic vaccines, rabies vaccine (4 months and older), age-appropriate blood testing (6 months and older), flea/tick/heartworm treatments, and deworming.
As a non-profit organization, our adoption fees help us to offset some of these costs.

Note - you must be 18 years or older to adopt.
