Adoption steps
- Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
- Select your best friend in our office or online. Contact us from our website, via email, or by phone with any questions.
- Submit Application
- Our Adoption Application is available in our office or online at mercerhumaneky.com/adopt
- Interview
- Our board will review your application, check your references, and get back to you as soon as possible/
- Approve Application
- If your application is approved by the board, we'll set up an adoption appointment. This is when you'll sign the adoption contract.
- Pay Fee
- Our adoption fees are reasonably priced at $65 for cats and $125 for dogs. This includes spay/neuter, preliminary vaccines, and microchip.

We are currently located at 165 Eminence Avenue in Harrodsburg, within Mercer County, KY. We are a cat only rescue group which can be visited weekdays between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. . On weekends our cats are available to view by appointment only.
