Hi, my name is Phebe. I was surrendered to the shelter on October 1, 2025 after my person had to go into hospice care. For the past five years, it was just the two of us, and losing my home and my person turned my whole world upside down.

When I first arrived, I was scared, confused, and very unhappy about everything changing. It took about two weeks before I felt safe enough to let the staff touch me. With patience and kindness, I finally began to trust again — and now they’ve discovered what a wonderful girl I truly am.

I am spayed, up to date on vaccines, and ready for a new start. I need a quiet home with no other dogs or cats, just like I was used to before. I’m independent by nature and not big on affection unless I decide it’s time — but when I choose you, I choose you forever. ??

I have a few quirks that make me unique:
• I prefer to drink from a running faucet instead of a bowl
• I love my Temptations treats in the morning
• I’m a dry food only girl — no canned food for me!
