Max is a young and gentle boy. He came from the street. When we first found him. It was a rainy day at that time; we decided to take him away. He was a starving and weak baby dog, we could not risk the chance and let him stay at the original spot. Max needs treatment for his health.

The Vet suggested that Max needed to be hospitalized because he was severely dehydrated-avital threat for him. Therefore, the lucky Max was taken care of and received supple nutrition at the Vet clinic.

Max is playful and lively, sometimes goofy. He likes to approach people with curiosity. Adults or children, men or women alike. He also gets along with other dogs and cats. Gentle and friendly are best to describe him. He always quickly starts to follow you around. He likes to run around outdoors, and roll on grass. Our rescue carefully arrange Max in one foster home - yes, foster dad / mom and kid given lots of love and cuddles there.

Max is looking for a sweet home right now. Foster fed him puppy kibble with wet food ; sometimes foster cooked pork, beef, eggs.... chicken or duck treats or cheese sticks for snacks as well. Or a mixture of well-blended boiled beef/chicken with dog feed. He is a food lover. According to our observation and evaluation, Max is quite suitable for any family with a comfortable space for activities and happy lives. Once he recognizes you, he will adapt to your family. Maybe he needs a little time to adapt to a new environment. We would like the new family to do the same as well; he will quickly learn the location.

The meaning of adoption is not gaining a free and 100% perfect dog. Instead, the meaning is a poor and helpless animal gets a new life and sweet home because of you. Please open your heart and your sweet home. If you are interested in Max, or want to help him. Please contact us.

* We opened Max for adoption in U.S. and Canada, You are welcome to fill out our online application *

We are looking for a family who understands the patience and responsibility required to raise a pet. It is important to us.

More about this rescue

Furry smiles International Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in USA, and BC registry non-profit association in Canada.

We do not have a physical shelter location. We rely on our network with many fosters in the different area, who provide our dogs with love and care during transition from rescue, medical, foster to adoption.

Our International rescue dogs will be flying to Canada, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, New York....or other city once the adoption is confirmed.

Furry Smile International Rescue ( FSIR) have been working hard to improve the welfare of dogs/cats since 2005 irrespective of their breed, medical condition or age.

All of our amazing volunteers donate their time because of their passion for helping dogs. We feel passionately that our role is not simply deal with the consequence of irresponsible ownership, but to also tackle the root causes and reduce the number of dogs needing to access the animal welfare system.

Our rescue ; we take care of them; we try to train them to be socialized; we find them a good home and we make sure dog/cat is living happily hereafter. We also believe in the therapeutic role that dogs can play in our local community. Our vision is a future where all pets are provided with a responsible and loving home for life.
